Manager Operations – Professional Services Colombo

Axinom is seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Manager of Operations – Professional Services, based in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the management of the international professional services unit including various software engineering teams and projects
- HR responsibility including hiring, providing guidance and feedback, holding regular one-on-one meetings, etc.
- Maintain customer relationships and successfully handle escalations
- Lead contract negotiations and handle invoice management
- Deliver successful software development projects to the customer
- Plan the assignment of work and resources
- Work together with the international and local leadership teams with a goal to ensure stable operations and a supportive work environment based on our company culture
- Advance the unit by developing best practices and efficient processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic initiatives
- Define team goals and track progress
Skill requirements
- IT or business background with a high technical affinity
- At least 5 years of experience in leading software development teams/projects
- Language proficiency in English, both written and spoken
- Good understanding of various software development methodologies and processes
- Experience in a customer-facing role
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Self-driven, taking ownership and responsibility
- Team leading experience
Beneficial skills
- Higher education in IT
- Experience as Project Manager in international projects
- Availability to travel
- Assertive and can do attitude
- First-hand experience in requirements analysis
